MARCH - APRIL 2013
* rounding the learning curve that changes
require... wobbly on these new bloglegs, but recommitting to learning
the what that it takes to keep the fire that warms me, that lights my
craft- that spreads the word of the works of others bringing me fire
right now. this fish continues to repair the bicycle... back healing,
heart stronger, delving into texts for poetry month in april. my
response on walls in may. ah spring.
MAY - JUNE 2012
* endings. giving leave to it all to island hop. to
nest betwixt sun-baked grasses. to absorb warmth & leave a
depression. stretching my scale. walking my edge. jumping in with all
fours in hot-blooded full-summer color.
NOV 2011
*woodshedding for evening gown season, this artist might
vacuum, dust - neigh squirt down the studio- and spend a bit of time
running in the rain and hiking in the mud. plans to step outside for a
while, to get back to open studio sculpture and charcoal studies of the
human form, and toying with a photographic study of generativity... in
other words, anything goes!
MAR 2011
* little water cantina landscape hoping for a little sun and a little less water. stage I: cinco de mayo premiere
DEC 2010
* charcoal on paper
* great mound of tree-tossed treasures growing in the studio...if they do not root themselves to the hardwoods, they'll re-emerge - re-imagined - come january
